I love movie posters, in particular super hero movie posters. So this year I looked to them for inspiration. I had a couple of ideas for Mike’s portrait, one was the Thing from the Fantastic Four, another was Thor as he hit the ground with his anvil, and then I ran across this poster. It was perfect! So I set up the shot in my makeshift home studio, and luckily the photography angels blessed me with this final image. It really captures him, and yes, good news, he liked it too.
